I have to say I would be more sympathetic of the whole “they want a blood sacrifice” thing if I had seen a genuine apology from her anywhere and an acknowledgement of the hurt she caused rather than just justifications and defensiveness. I get that she didn’t mean it like it came across but the response to being picked up on things is often more important than the original thing itself.
